It's official - Huntsville FC is now North Alabama SC.

Huntsville FC launched the North Alabama Soccer Coalition ("North Alabama SC" or "NASC") in 2018 as a way to further connect the North Alabama soccer community and advance the player development pathway.

Our efforts over the last 2 years have been very successful. The Huntsville FC competitive teams continued their history of success, we launched recreational programs in Athens, Huntsville, Madison, and Owens Cross Roads, launched a Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) team in 2019, and were awarded a men's National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) expansion team that will kick-off its inaugural season in 2021.

By bringing together our local youth clubs and recreational soccer leagues, we have been able to achieve North Alabama SC's mission to provide a comprehensive player development pathway - Developmental to Recreational to Competitive to Premier - while also providing a place for players of every skill level in North Alabama to play and develop together. Unifying the soccer community creates a developmental environment that allows every player to achieve soccer success on their own timeline, learn to play and compete with integrity and confidence, and master the life lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play, all while developing a lifelong love for the beautiful game of soccer.

What does this mean for Huntsville FC's returning players and teams? Nothing changes for our players and teams. All teams are returning as North Alabama SC. For example - if you are a returning HFC 05 Girls player or a new 05 girls player, you will be trying out for the NASC 05 Girls team for Fall 2020.

What about the Huntsville FC coaching staff? Nothing changes. Our Directors and coaches are now the North Alabama SC staff. The #1 coaching staff in North Alabama isn't going anywhere.

Are there any changes to the competitive program? No - the competitive program is the same for 9U-19U. All current levels are still available: National League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and High School Prep. However, this fall, we will begin offering a new pre-Academy program for our 7U-8U players that want a higher level of competitive play.
