Huntsville, AL - North Alabama SC has named Jason Batchelor as Head Coach of our USL W League (USLW) team for the 2023 season.

Jason has served as a Head Coach with North Alabama SC for more than 10-years. He has coached multiple Division I and Alabama State Champion teams – most recently he coached our Gravity Girls 04 Showcase/DPL team to the 2022 Alabama State Division I Championship.

Jason served as our WPSL U-21 Head Coach for the 2021 and 2022 seasons and is also the Head Coach for the St. John Paul II High School (JPII) Varsity Boys program. At JPII, Jason has earned more than 100 wins, won seven Area Championships, and made two Final Four appearances.

“Jason was the clear choice to lead our USLW team. He has a proven track record of leadership, player development, and soccer success,” said North Alabama SC DOC Henry Mpagi. “We are thrilled for Jason to lead our team for their inaugural USLW season.”

Jason played collegiately at UAH and graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems. He is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for Summit 7. 
 
Jason holds a USSF “D” License and is pursuing a USSF “C” License.
