NASC's pre-professional team is joining USL W League (USLW) for the 2023 season. USLW is the premier pre-professional soccer league developing the next generation of women's talent on and off the field.

NASC will compete in the South Central Division of the Southern Conference or the the 2023 season. Opponents are

• Birmingham Legion
• Chattanooga Red Wolves
• South Carolina United FC
• South Georgia Tormenta FC
• Southern Soccer Academy
• Tennessee SC

The USLW team is NASC's senior women's team for our Player Development Pathway. The USLW provides players with a pathway to the highest level of pre-professional soccer available in North Alabama allowing them to train and compete against current and former college players, former professionals, and rising elite youth players.

The 2023 USLW season is May to mid-July with the playoffs being held in late July followed by the league championship the first week of August. 

Schedule and details regarding season tickets will be communicated in January 2023.

NASC T-Shirt
Players will receive a dri-fit style NASC tryout shirt.

Ages
Tryouts are OPEN to ALL female amateur players ages 16 and up. Players from ALL clubs - regardless of affiliation - are encouraged and welcome attend.

Player must turn 16 on or before April 30, 2023 to be eligible to play in 2023. 

Player Eligibility
Current/active high school and college players are eligible for the USLW team. High school and NCAA eligibility is not affected by playing in USLW. Note - If you are currently playing collegiate or high school soccer, please be sure to inform your coach that you are trying out and consult your school's compliance office with any eligibility questions. The rules may vary between collegiate divisions and by state for high schools.

Tryout Location
Open Tryouts will be held at the Merrimack Soccer Complex Turf Fields located at 3217 Ivy Ave SW, Huntsville,  AL 35805.

Check-in
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to complete player check-in and receive your tryout number.

Tryout Attire
Players will be provided a tryout t-shirt and number. Players should appropriate soccer attire (cleats, shorts, soccer socks, shinguards) and dress appropriately for the weather.

Hydration
Players will be provided with two (2) complimentary bottles of water for each session. Players should bring any additional water or sports drinks they may need.
